My sweet little grandma turned 88 years old yesterday! So this weekend we had a big party for her to celebrate. I made these delicious peanut butter cookies for the party and they were so good! I have to admit we ate a good portion of the dough too because it was so tasty!
First cream together your sugars and butter. Mix in the peanut butter.
Next add in the eggs and vanilla.
Mix in the dry ingredients (baking soda, salt, and flour) until it is all well combined.
Pour in the chocolate chips and mix those in. Then if you are like me you stop here and just eat the dough. :) Or you can keep going and cook the cookies too. :)
Place the cookie dough on a greased cookie sheet and cook in the oven for 12 minutes.
Remove from the oven and place the Reese's peanut butter cup pieces on the cookies and pop back into the oven for a couple minutes.
Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before placing the cookies on a cooling rack.
